How are things going? Great I hope. My name is Kevin Hill and I would like to welcome you to .Audio Video Interactive (.AVI for short). This blog is dedicated to all aspects of video production. We will discuss the basics of production, trends in production and in the industry, review equipment and uplift the creative and entrepreneural spirit in all of us. We also want .AVI as the "I" suggests, to be interactive, so we need for you to get involved so feel free to chime in with your two cents and impart some of your wisdom on us. If you are a novice or a seasoned professional you are welcomed. Just keep it respectful.

Let me tell you about me, I live in the Greater Atlanta, Georgia Area with my lovely wife and two beautiful daughters. I own Igigo Communications, a marketing video production and multimedia company. I have twenty years of experience in video production. I have won two regional Emmys and several journalist awards. I have worked in television news and entertainment to corporate marketing and communications. In equipment terms, carrying the 3/4 inch record deck that weighted a ton when I started out to todays' new digital formats and carrying a five pound laptop. Sweet! I love to share my experiences and knowledge because I believe that "each one has to teach one!"

My other interests are college basketball and football in that order and the pros come after that. Traveling (getting on a plane not walking with the ball!) is a favorite past time of mine. Spending time with my family and friends rounds out my top interests.
